The Beginning
Alexis M. and Gilbert A. founded Five or Free Electrical out of Oakland, CA — built on a simple promise: 5 promises kept or the job is free.
First Home Base
Leased our first property at 2013 Research Dr, Livermore — the former shop of Maine Electric, where Gilbert started his electrical career at 18. Full circle. Broke $1M in revenue. Beta tested for Google Guaranteed and built our operations on Salesforce.
ServiceTitan Changes Everything
A plumbing issue in the shop brought Barnett Plumbing to our door — and they introduced us to ServiceTitan software. We joined the platform, and it transformed how we run the business.
Growing the Team
Grew to 12 employees with 3 dedicated install crews. The Promise Keeper culture started taking shape as we hired technicians who believed in the S.C.O.R.E. system.
Breaking $2M & The Ice Cream Museum
Broke $2 million in revenue. Gained massive traction with hundreds of 5-star reviews across Google, Yelp, and HomeAdvisor. Had the privilege of doing the electrical work for the Museum of Ice Cream in San Francisco.
